Abstract

The present study intends to
investigate the state of the
art of doctoral researchs
whose theme is radio and ra-
diojournalism in the Postgra-
duate Programs in Commu-
nication / Journalism in the
states of Paraná, Santa Cata-
rina and Rio Grande do Sul,
in the quadrennium 2013-
2017. For that, a mapping of
the theses that address radio
and radiojournalism defen-
ded in the Doctoral Pro-
grams mentioned in the qua-
drennium, through the verifi-
cation in the theses banks of
the sites of each program
was carried out. Of the total
of 248 theses produced in
the area during the quadren-
nium in southern Brazil, se-
ven were on radio and three
of them dealt with radiojour-
nalism. In addition, it is ob-
served that the methodolo-
gies used are qualitative, mi-
xing different research tech-
niques
