2021-12-27

Rebej's internationalization policy has taken an important step in recent days. Researchers Ramón Salaverría, from the Universide de Navarra (Spain), and Gaye Tuchman, from the University of Connecticut (USA), are the new members of the Journal's Advisory Board.

Both are recognized for their great contributions to journalism research and for their extensive production in the area. Tuchman is professor emeritus at the University of Connecticut and one of her main productions is the book "Making News: A Study in the Construction of Reality". She is a reference on issues related to newsmaking theory and observational research. Salaverría has published works in Portuguese and in Brazilian periodicals. It is one of the main references in cyberjournalism and writing on the internet. Among the books published is "Integrated Periods - convergencia de medios y reorginación de redaciones".

The new board members will have the mission of promoting the magazine in their countries, as well as, eventually, evaluating articles in their own languages. They join 31 other members. Meet the Rebej editorial team.
